About the White Salmon
The popular run from BZ Corner to Northwestern Park is about 7.5 miles of Class III+ with one Class V: Husum Falls. The middle section is continuous, with rapids like Maytag, Top Drop, Grasshopper, Corkscrew and Waterspout (How's Your River). It's a cold, clear, spring-fed river in a basalt gorge, and it's beautiful.
The saves
