Sawyer Paddles and Oars, SilverTip Epoxy Kit (Part A - 4oz & Part B - 2oz)
SilverTip Epoxy Repair Kit is a professional-grade marine epoxy system designed for paddle, oar, boat, and composite repairs. Every kit includes 4 oz of SilverTip Part A Resin and 2 oz of Part B Fast Hardener for laminating, bonding, coating, and structural repairs. Choose the standard Two-Part Epoxy Kit or the Kit with 8 oz of Cab-O-Sil Epoxy Thickener for advanced bonding, filleting, and gap-filling applications.
SilverTip Epoxy features a medium-low viscosity that quickly wets out fiberglass, Kevlar®, Dynel®, graphite, and bare wood while minimizing trapped air and foaming. The easy 2:1 mix ratio cures to a tough, crystal-clear, blush-free finish with excellent heat resistance and outstanding secondary bonding characteristics.
If you choose the Cab-O-Sil Kit, the included fumed silica thickener allows you to create smooth, non-sag epoxy mixtures for fillets, adhesive bonding, gap filling, and vertical or overhead repairs.
All kits include Fast Hardener for faster cure times. Corrosive material—ships by ground service only. Always follow the manufacturer's mixing instructions and safety precautions.

Materials & Construction
SilverTip Epoxy is formulated specifically for marine composite construction and repair. Its medium-low viscosity allows reinforcing fabrics to wet out quickly while reducing foaming and trapped air for stronger laminates and cleaner finishes. The blush-free chemistry improves secondary bonding and reduces finishing work.
The included Fast Hardener cures quickly while maintaining excellent working time, producing a durable, resilient finish with superior heat resistance compared to many room-temperature curing epoxies.
The Cab-O-Sil Kit option includes an 8 oz container of high-purity fumed silica that thickens epoxy for bonding, filleting, gap filling, and vertical or overhead repairs. Add as much or as little as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
