Short clips are one of the best ways to study your own paddling. Watch your line, your body position and your paddle: are you sitting up and leaning forward, or sitting back and reacting? Are you taking strokes through the rapid, or just steering? I wish I'd known to look for that earlier.
Compare these with my later kayaking on the same river, like the upper Clackamas kayaking in Slo-mo in a SOTAR SL, and you can see the progression.
